Londonderry United SC will once again be offering optional winter futsal training opportunities for all club players. Participation in winter futsal does not impact a players spot on their fall and spring team.
Training sessions will be for 1 hour per group at the Sportszone in Derry, Wednesday evenings from 5-8pm. Just like previous years, games will be played in various locations in Southern NH. Players will be training with their age-appropriate groups and playing with their fall team in the FutsalNH league. Training and games are typically held regardless of the weather.
There are 4 options for training and playing.
(A) 8 weeks of "training only" $150
(B) 8 weeks of training and weekend games $202
(C) 15 weeks of "training only" $285

Each team and training group will be dependent on the number of players who sign up from that LUSC fall team. We will not be combining age groups, but we may combine within an age group to create one team if needed.
Although the Boys U8s are training together, they will play games on their own fall teams. They will only be combined to form one team if necessary.
Although the Boys U10s are training together, they will play games on their own fall teams. They will only be combined to form one team if necessary.
For teams that have more than 9 players per age group sign up to play in the games, there will be a rotation set up by the team, so that there are not more than 9 in attendance per game. This will help give players more touches on the ball per game. The exception to this will be the playoffs, when all players will be able to attend.
The minimum number of players to form a team will be 7. If the number of sign ups is less, then LUSC will not put a team into the league. The players will still be able to train on Wednesday evenings.
The Girls U14 and Boys U14/15 coaches are setting up their own winter training for their teams. If players from those age groups are still interested in signing up for the LUSC/FutsalNH training, they can. We can possibly make it work, depending on interest.
Volunteer coaches will be needed for each team that chooses to play in the games. If no parents are available to coach, we will try to use High School/College mentors. If no volunteer coach can still be found, we will not be able to have a team for that age group. A class will be put together to help coaches become familiar with the rules of futsal.
Response Deadline is October 18
If you are interested in signing your child up, respond to firstname.lastname@example.org with your child's name, team, and training/game option. Once we have this information, we can finalize teams and the training schedule. After this is compiled, LUSC will send out an additional email that contains a link to register your child.
